You don’t remember that pre-revolutionary history? I should say you shouldn’t, because it didn’t happen. But flash forward a few hundred years and you’ll find it is happening today in Cape Coral, Florida where city officials canceled a tax day tea party gathering because they “feel too many people could show-up.”
That’s right, folks, the God-given, long-held American right to assemble and protest the actions of our government has been canceled due to too much popularity of the protest.

I thought the headline meant the Governor canceled the tea party until I read the article. It was the “city” of Cape Coral that required the organizer to obtain a permit and insurance which she (the organizer) balked at. Anyway, it’s all in the article but the headline should be fixed because it could be (was for me) misleading.
Well planned spontaneity should work! What if a spontaneous rally broke out and everybody came?

A few thousand patriots need to randomly arrive there at the originally scheduled date & time.
Got an idea here. Get all the black conservatives down there and have them show up at the Governors office and claim discrimination. Go ahead and play their game.
exactly, a few yrs back the support the illegal aliens movement took to the streets by the thousands, and not a peep out any one.. in fact my congress person marched and supported them...
Bring a rainbow flag and claim the government is suppressing your rights.

Get some Log Cabin Republicans to bring a rainbow flag to the tea party. That covers both bases.
