Class Warfare: ‘Working Families’ Offer Field Trip to AIG Executives’ Mansions Friday, March 20, 2009 By Susan Jones, Senior Editor

(CNSNews.com) - "We're all mad at AIG," says the pro-union Connecticut Working Families Party. Tapping into some of that rage, the liberal group is sponsoring a "field trip" on Saturday to show working people from Hartford and Bridgeport how and where the AIG executives live. Some of the executives who received bonuses work in the company's Wilton, Conn., office.

Those executives "bear a large share of the responsibility for bringing the economy to its knees, and now the same folks are getting hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses -- at our expense," Connecticut Working Families says on its Web site. "Join us for a field trip to bring them the message."

Jon Green, the director of Connecticut Working Families, told the New York Times on Friday that his group would be “peaceful and lawful” and would not “foment” lingering rage at AIG “unnecessarily.”

The field trip will “give folks in Bridgeport and Hartford and other parts of Connecticut who are struggling and losing their homes and their jobs and their health insurance an opportunity to see what kinds of lifestyle billions of dollars in credit-default swaps can buy,” Green told the newspaper.

The Times on Friday noted that some AIG executives fear for their safety.

I am on board for whatever we need to do. I am not sure we have until 2010, as by then I believe their full plan will be in place and in the mean time they have us so confused on what they are doing we do nothing.

older victims are having to do just that now that their life savings are gone with the credit default swap wind.

Yes. The "subsidized" (tax payer funded and guaranteed) welfare housing bubble collapsed. The loans were bogus, and the government forced banks to offer them - or else! Move On and ACORN threatened any banker who refused to comply.
Why do you think the federal reserve went bust? Why do you think the insurance companies went bust? Where do you think all the money went? It went to welfare the same way our tax dollars disappear.

The banks knew this wasn't going to work, so they milked the system just as much. Why not? The democrats PROMISED the tax payers would bail them out - no questions asked.

Now, the democrats got caught with their pants down, and they're pointing fingers at those they forced to obey! The government did this. This was a Democrat program. The money has been pi$$ed away ever since Carter. It finally reached $0. The democrats spent it all on welfare housing.

My connection to this is with my 88yo German mother.
She despised Hitler. My aunt was a member of the Hitlerjunge. So I grew up listening to them argue over the conditions in Germany.

I really believed it couldn’t happen here. Sometimes I think I’m just projecting and confusing their life experiences with mine during this time.

If facism really is their goal, their first step is to destroy the opposition completely. With that goal, I always thought the best way to destroy the ‘movement’ was from within. How that happens is anyone’s guess. We’re thirty years behind because we’ve become too complacent.

Dictionary.com: SOCIALISM - (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

This is why the democrats used welfare housing (as well as other welfare programs) to bust the American economy. They've been building this housing bubble since Carter. It finally popped, and Americas wealth has disappeared. Now, the people are crying out for "a Savior", and be he God or the devil, they will except him.

The owners of the houses on tour should post a sign in their yard that says “If you refuse that govt check and get a real job someday this house can be yours!”

Overwhelm the system until it collapses.

This is why the wise have been screaming out for the Republicans to do something about the social programs, but the "moderate" Republicans were more interested in their celebrity parties than what was happening right under their noses. They refused to listen to the learned. They preferred to remain ignorant. It was easier to party than serve.

You are not projecting, it is here NOW.

They are NOW as we chat, organizing the CLASS WARFARE mentality, just look at the mobs that are going out to the AIG employees homes, they are stirring up anarchy.

I feel like we need to go out and protect these employees as these tours are going on, we need signs to tell those on the tours that is is not the AIG, it is the GOVERNMENT who allowed this to happen.

I say we have to "STOP", (Stop The Obama Politics). NOW

You don’t have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

The Republicans also have ‘progressive’ constituents in their districts/states whose interests they must also represent to stay in office. They’ve only been throwing them ‘bones’ so far.
GW deserves much criticism for his ‘liberal’ legislation. (They ‘progressives’ made sure he was marginalized from the beginning.) But you must know that resulted from ‘compromises with the Dems in Congress to get anything done.
Now that the Dems don’t have to compromise with anybody, watch out!

This is so wrong! We need to stop this mob mentality!

That's the last thing anyone in the so called "leadership" of the government wants. First off, if the public is involved in class warfare, they'll be too involved and invested in it to really notice what's going on around them. Secondly, class warfare is what's required for a totalitarian government to be enacted, whether it be a fascist government (communism "lite") or a full out communist government.

Oboma was suppose to unite the world. Remember?

He's trying to. That's the reason BEHIND the class warfare!

This will all be blamed on the GOP...most unfairly because the laws that were changed in the late 90’s that removed depression era barriers to just this sort of reckless gambling wall Street has engaged in were passed by a GOP Congress with some Dem support and signed by a Dem president. We are in a terrible situation because I fear people will not elect the GOP no matter what the Dems do because they fear the GOP can not be ‘trusted’ with the economy...similar to what happened in the 30’s.

There was a note on Fox News about a half hour ago that these bus field trips were sponsored by ACORN.

Such crap...these bonus babies made money unions only dream of...unions were forced to bargain in order to save the big three...AIG bonus babies were forced to give up well nothing and guaranteed their bonuses after tanking their companies and the US economy as well. One should also consider Paulson’s role in this...a Goldman alumni who put all Goldman rivals out of business...this stinks to high heaven.

I prefer to hold the people who invented fake insurance, leveraged themselves to the point they could not pay any claims and then went whining to the government after they tanked their criminal enterprises such as AIG and the economy.
