Models depicted in magazines present such an unrealistic view of what females should aspire to look like. It is very harmful to impressionable young girls, many of whom end up thinking they are ugly and don’t measure up. It is very sad. :-(
Makes you wish you could hug them and reassure them that they look just fine.
Apparently also leaves more than a few thinking they could be models themselves.
