I think I can clear up some of the confusion regarding Rush Limbaugh's statement that he wants the President to fail. What he meant to say, taking a page from the Dem's playbook, was like the military in Iraq, we support the president, we just want his mission to fail.
Good call.
Support the troops, oppose the war
Brilliant, exactly right.
I don’t support the president and I want him to fail!
Ellen Ratner said she wanted the war in Iraq to fail.
Nope! That’s not what I mean when I say it !!!
I want President B. Hussein Obama to FAIL, . . . big time!
and with him, all of his appointments and policies!
I was unaware that there was any confusion. Rush was, and is, perfectly clear to me.
We want the socialist baby-killer to FAIL!!!!
As in; Fail!
I fully agree, but sometimes it is useful and fun to use rhetorical judo on the left.
When Americans under Patton finally defeated Rommel in North Africa, he was disappointed to find out that Rommel was not there. When it was pointed out that the plan he defeated was Rommel's plan he assumed success. (I assume some true facts in the movie.) The fact is that it is difficult to differentiate the policies from the person. In this era of PC no one wants to hurt someone's feeling by blaming someone for their policies. But, the dOpey-One refers to himself in the personal so often that he is personally responsible for what he does. Today, durning his press briefing on pork in the omnibus budget, he said that he was going to reduce by half the $1.3 trillion deficit he inherited, in my first term. The arrogance of the dOpey-One knows no bounds.
If they will read it.
There is absolutely no doubt that he will fail. He’s already failing. The Obmamessiah is in way above his pay grade.
American freedom will thrive long after this throwback Marxist/socialist’s political demise.
Mr. Obama, tear down this wall!!
First of all I am flattered to get a response from Jim Robinson. It made my day, thank you.
Second of all, watching the first 50 days unfold is like being involved in a slow motion car accident. We all know what the outcome will be, but there is nothing we can do to either speed it up or prevent it. I'm content to know the Republic was built strong enough to survive it.
