This isn’t a war of a block of nations against the US. The jihadists fight for the virtual nation of Islam, the one with a capital city in Saudi Arabia that all muslims bow to 5 times a day. Not all muslims are extremist or support the jihadists, but the jihadists are beholden to the nation of Islam, not Somalia or Sudan or Afghanistan.
Elections have consequences. This one will prove deadly for perhaps 1,000’s of Americans.

Well I can believe a rather small amount are there primarily for money. Like maybe 2-3 percent.
I believe at least 50% are unreachable and are not changeable. Biden’s “5” needs at least a zero behind it.
I believe a very small number may be there because they are being blackmailed to be there (threats to family, etc) and they have some expertise or abilities they want to exploit. I believe some are there because they think being on that side is better than having the Taliban go after them.
But I believe most of them are there because they want to be there and because of their beliefs on Islam.
Biden shows he (like most western libs) don’t understand the mideast muslim mindset. He thinks it’s about money and disenfranchisement rather than fundamental evil people. Just like how they deal with criminals here.
