Liberals told to leave

(An instructor for a hunter safety course orders Obama voters to get out of his class.)

Thirteen-year-old Lane Dunkley just wanted to go hunting with his grandfather.

What he got was a lecture on politics.

Dunkley and his father, Daniel Reddy, who live in Tulsa, went to Broken Arrow on Tuesday night for a hunter safety course normally required to get an Oklahoma hunting license.

The class was a reward of sorts. Dunkley, who wants to go hunting with his grandfather, was told he could take the class only if he brought up his grades.

So he did — to a B-plus average.

But when father and son arrived at the lesson, the volunteer instructor, Kell Wolf, asked if any of the students voted for President Barack Obama.

Reddy, a transplanted Californian — and former Marine — raised his hand.

According to Reddy and others in the room, Wolf called Obama "the next thing to the Antichrist" and ordered Reddy and Dunkley from the room. When Reddy refused, Wolf said he would not teach "liberals" and would cancel the course if Reddy didn't leave.

"Would not surprise me in the least...if this was all a bunch of B.S."

Of course it is! But the story has a moral; Zero Tolerance for Liberalism.

Yes, it’s time to start SHUNNING those who voted against our freedoms, our families, and our faith.

“I can’t imagine a *liberal* Marine.”

You’d be surprised.

"We do NOT need to politicize every aspect of life the way liberals have been trying to do and have succeeded for the most part in doing in public education."

You are weak and naive.

We absolutely have to "politicise every aspect of life" if this country is to survive. We have to fight to the death is every respect or we fail, since that is exactly what the opposition is doing, and will continue to do.

Making kissey-face has gotten us nothing but defeat every time its been tried.

Good for him! I think more of us should refuse to serve or help anyone who supports socialism (i.e. votes for any demo-rat.)

"This is probably a fake story."

Its absolutely a fake story, but the principle is important. - The Drive-By media always give these fake stories legs, and we need to answer them with a spit in the eye.

Re #104 and 130. The addresses of my post seem to be more or less on the same page as I as well as some other posts I read. We've (the nation) obviously become more divided than ever. A lot is at stake that wasn't before. Many of us have family members who voted for Obama. Some I don't know how they voted. Remember when it didn't used to matter so much? I'm retired but back when I worked, I don't think we were supposed to discuss politics or campaign in the office (govt), shudder to think how it might be now.

People have been all over the map on this thread, so no sense in pouring more fuel on the fire. A lot of what they say is absolutely true, too, just that the end doesn't always justify the means on our side.

I told my son it's really hard getting old and knowing what could be coming my way and having to live now with what I know to the end of my days. This is more a 2nd amendment thread, but I have to think about the 1st and right to life all added to the mix. Sometimes you have to just try to disassociate yourself from it and do something while we still can that doesn't involve such polarization.

I put myself in the place of that instructor. I might feel just as he does, but I have a choice on how and when to act on what I feel. Sometimes it is truly hard to bite your tongue. I think the tide is starting to turn a little but not necessarily back to Republicans or conservatism; we'll have to see how it plays out.

Just today I was thinking about somebody I met on the web; he didn't throw it in my face about Bush, said we didn't have good choices. He switched his usual R vote this time, but he and his friends are starting to be upset, and I told myself if they come around, don't you dare rub their noses in it.

The instructor’s behavior seems completely appropriate to me.

The day after the election I fired an employee who was an open Obama supporter. If more employers took this attitude we wouldn’t have a Communist in the Oval Office.

Why should anyone here have a problem with making traitors or supporters of traitors pay a price?

>> You do not have the right in the First amendment to harass people.

That’s correct providing your definition of harassment is correct in terms of the law. Your displeasure with his conduct may not be a violation of law, however.

You said Wolf’s behavior was that of a spoiled child. I’d like to hear Wolf’s side of the story given his otherwise exemplary record as described in the article.

Does that include classes for the teaching of abortion?

Obamanoid ... it is the posters job to be here, crapping on the FR home. Didn’t you know?

You have no moral compass, and you hate liberty. Why would you even want to be here?

You know, you really only have to convince one person that I don't belong here, and I'd be gone with a keystroke.

You’re 100% correct. It’s a conservative myth that our servicemen are uniformly conservative. I visited Ft. Polk in October, and I was absolutely shocked that McCain’s level of support wasn’t almost unanimous. There were a lot of Obama supporters in uniform.

“Why should you teach a kid how to handle a weapon when he will be trained in socialism and may subsequently use that knowledge against you?”

So he doesn’t accidentally shoot you or anyone else.
