This movie came highly recommended by a guy at work. I saw it this weekend. It sucked. I would have walked out after 1/2 hour if I didn’t have the wife with me.
I see they are backing down from putting a figure on those who are currently involved in prostitution. Let's say the figure is 100,000. Massachusetts, which is where I live, has approximately 1/20th the population of the US. Therefore, we can guess that there should be 5,000 children involved in prostitution in Massachusetts. That is an absurdly high number and it has not been supported by arrests to date
Child prostitution is clearly despicable and requires our constant vigilance to keep it from happening. However, quoting totally unbelievable numbers destroys the credibility of those who seek to improve the situation.
This is what happens when you let in unlimited numbers of people from sh*hole countries.
But if you read the whole article, it simply uses the gist of the movie to spotlight real life enticement & seduction of young children.
There's a movie available (made for TV) called Human Trafficking...and even though a well made 'movie' I think it is more 'real' than not.
It's horrible....and the US has its share of human trafficking.
What would one expect from a country that regards cattle higher than its women?
