If it is as reported, is it Steele’s suicide by Rush?
In a head-to-head contest between Steele and Rush ... it’s no contest. Rush wins by KO in round 1.
Screw the GOP. Time to make the Tea Party a political party. At this rate Ill be staying home in November 2010.
Steele lost my support for everything here on out.
I’d imagine that he’s just pissed that when it was pointed out to him that “today is the day of the vote”, Rush said he didn’t care who the Republicans were voting for to head up the GOP. :)

I’m not defending Steele. That interview had many things wrong with it.
But Steele did not say it.

Note Martin’s story. He creatively uses the words “ugly” and “incendiary.” Not reporting directly that it came out of Steele’s mouth.

Well he’s a lot more successful on the radio than...
“comedian Al Franken” was.
Steele was stupid to talk that way with CNN's D.L. Hughley. Steele could not accomplish anything talking to this man on any subject.

How in the HELL did he get elected Republican National Committee Chairman? Was this another Obama under the radar type selection? What is left? Have we lost everything worth fighting for? I am one of the millions who are avid Rush supporters. This is going to to rock the foundation of the Republican Party if Steele made those remarks (which he probably did). HE BETTER RESIGN IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
We need an articluate spokesman like Gringrich to put together a NEW conservative party.
