OK Norm, I’ll start the ripping. IMHO, CA Speedway is a POS track and a POS race, but everybody who posts here are a great bunch of folks.
Flame away.
The only other track I have been to is Fontana, way to used to LVMS. Where you can see the whole track, for starters!
Think it was about 4 years ago, the boy and I went to Fontana. They set a record for "earliest in the season" to ever hit 100 degrees. Man, that sucked. So bad in fact that after baking on Sat, we packed up and went home early Sunday morning - and watched the race in comfort.
That was not the tracks fault, obviously, but just did not care for the track at all. Too big, too much crap in your viewing way, etc.
And yesterday, for the CW race, the wife asked me, "where are all the fans?" - tons of empty seats. I told her that they were all underneath the stands, shopping. Remember that?
Still advertising seats available seats for here, next week. Will be interesting to see what the turnout is.

I take it you don’t like football field wide tracks.
Save some of that flame to dry the track in case it gets wet. ;-]
