That is a direct quote and for public consumption. That is one of four total instances of public disagreement in eight years. Cheney views Libby as a loyal subordinate who got the shaft.
Obviously we had the wrong man as President, Cheney should have had the top spot and wimp boy should have been VP.
Obviously, Cheney wanted Libby to have full pardon.
My point is...beware.
The MSM will use words like "fury" to make conservatives think Cheney was more divided overall from Bush than he was. In reality, they were like-minded on a huge range of issues.
So they disagreed on a few issues. Move on. The MSM doesn't want you to.
