Some of us have been warning that it was not healthy for the U.S. media to have deified rather than questioned Obama, especially given that they tore apart Bush, ridiculed Palin, and caricatured Hillary. And now we can see the results of their two years of advocacy rather than scrutiny.
We are quite literally after two weeks teetering on an Obama implosion—and with no Dick Morris to bail him out—brought on by messianic delusions of grandeur, hubris, and a strange naivete that soaring rhetoric and a multiracial profile can add requisite cover to good old-fashioned Chicago politicking.

Obama is a puppet. Someone else is pulling the strings, which makes Obama’s job easy: Look good, read his speeches well, try to avoid going off script. No stress from decision making, or feeling responsiblity.
Obama will be fine, we won’t.
Bravo VDH. Obama is not ready for duty and we are all going to pay in the worst of ways.
That kind of incompetence isn’t fixed by saying “I goofed up”.

Amateur Hour on the Potomac is wrecking this country - and that’s before the next terrorist event on our shores. And it can all be laid at the feet of the sorry excuse that passes for journalism in American these days - you still have to read a Brit rag to find anything remotely resembling a criticism of The 0ne.

Is anyone who reads this board really surprised? Last time I checked, the media branded us “knuckle-draggers” and “complainers” for raising these issues. He has no experience and it shows. If BO actually spent time governing and not campaigning, he wouldn’t be making horribly unrealistic promises.
Good column. It now seems likely that 0 will actually replace Jimmy Carter at the bottom of the heap of dim ne’er-do-wells. This does not bode well for our republic.

Never underestimate the stupidity of American voters. 20 some percent are lefties, that leaves about 30% who bought the change slogan. They are uninformed and really don’t care to be informed. They will not realize their enslavement until the chains start to dig into their flash.
0 has the political bullseye on his head as to ultimate responsibility and leadership.
The Left is and has been banking that no one will overly criticize 0 because of his skin color and the LSM is in lockstep with it too as The Left also is counting upon their 'work'.
However, once we are into the soon-to-be depths of a horrific Depression, things will change and many of the O-Cool-Aid drinkers will either wake up finally or commit suicide.
They didn’t even mention Mexico going under and dragging us with them.
One of Barry’s many problems is that he was the creation of one man, Bill Ayers, who built his image, crafted it into what he wanted, started Barry in politics and got Barry’s lovely wife Michelle “mentored” by Bill’s equally lovely wife Bernardine Dohrn, told Barry what to think and who to use, and supervised every step of his political career.
There are two problems now: Barry is now somewhat cut off from Bill Ayers, who has to maintain a low profile around Barry to avoid calling attention to himself; and Bill was always a Chicago player with no national experience or contacts, once the terrorist movement of which he had been part dissolved. Thus Barry is separated from his Svengali, and his Svengali isn’t really up to the job anyway.
What was so surprising to me yesterday was Chris Wallace and then later Brit Hume (!) fawning over Obama’s interview performance, which I thought was awful. Uh uh uh no teleprompter did sound exactly like the talk but say nothing candidate and why people of all stripes continue to kiss up to this guy just really escapes me.
We are so screwed.

I completely agree, but I would add this:
We have roughly 3+ generations of public school products. These people have no ability to think critically, and have been indoctrinated into socialism. It’s not that they don’t realize the chains are being placed on them... they wish for it.
Another point, in Bambi’s interview he told Wallace that the biggest shock or surprise or whatever the question was about becoming president was that “his decisions affect people’s lives” NO SH!T SHERLOCK! Sheesh.
