It’s a good ad and it would be a shame to not have it shown during a family-friendly event.

After several days of negotiations, an NBC representative in Chicago told CatholicVote.org late yesterday that NBC and the NFL are not interested in advertisements involving political candidates or issues. Remember this statement. Make sure that there are NO OBAMA praise ads or moments in the ads or half time show.
The corporate world has ushered in all sorts of OBAMA marketing strategies (Pepsico among them).
We will be watching for any lying liars at NBC and the NFL.

Its a good ad and it would be a shame to not have it shown during a family-friendly event. It's not the family-friendly event it once was.

Burch, who is also president of the Fidelis Center for Law and Policy, told the Daily Blog that a NBC official said to him about the ad, Im neither pro-life nor pro-choice, ... Pro-purgatory?

Advocacy ads are always rejected for the Superbowl.
I recall moveon.orgy had a superbowl ad that wasn't really over the top, but was rejected a few years back. They knew it would be rejected, but got a lot of coverage claiming censorship. But this has always been the case for advocay ads, right or left.

I guess things are going well at NBC in a difficult year if they can reject ads like this.
When it comes to the content of ads I really couldn't care one way or another . . . since I haven't watched a Super Bowl in years. In fact, the whole event is a media-driven farce wrapped around 11 to 13 minutes of action on a football field during the course of a 5-hour extravaganza.

Its a good ad and it would be a shame to not have it shown during a family-friendly event. As opposed to those little 'blue pills'.

Can’t they do a better job of getting their message out if they don’t blow $2.6 million on a single Super Bowl ad? I wasn’t aware they were that flush with funds.
