Looks like Gingrey is back on the reservation. Don't *&#* with Rush!

I think he is coming on Laura's show this morning.

What did he say? My computer was down yesterday afternoon and I must have missed it.

Well I did not read anything that said I will NOT vote to give Bama a cover.
That is allllll he needed to say.

I think he’s on Boortz, now.

I thought I heard on Rush that the Politico got Gingrey’s quotes wrong?

I never told Rush to back off. I regret and apologize for the fact that my comments have offended and upset my fellow conservativesthat was not my intent. Did he say it or not?Why did he apologize for his statement, if he did not say it?

He’s mea culpa-ing on Neal Boortz’s show now.
At least he seems man enough to admit foot-in-mouth disease.
As folks probably know by now, he’s going to be on Rush’s show later today.

I respect this guy even more now. In some manner it takes guts to stand up and make this very, very direct statement. Kudos to him and for not providing some wishy-washy namby-pamby statement.
I am pleased.

I smelled BS from the Politico headline and article. Heck, they didn’t even get the congressman’s name right the first time they put it up. First they said it was Price who told Rush to back off when, in fact, no one said any such thing.
To: St. Louis Conservative
Is he related to Newt Gingrey?
To: St. Louis Conservative
We can silver lining this thing, as well. There was a realignment of political affiliation under President Reagan and the House takeover of ‘94. Didn’t our side get a few Conservative Democrats, fiscal/defense at least, such as Gramm, Shelby almost Breaux?
It’s about due.

John McCain may also back the Hush Rush bill. He made such noises during the campaign.
Even GWBush did not like the calls generated by Talk Radio on the Harriet Myers nomination, the Ramos and Compean case, illegal immigration, the Dubai ports deal...
Sit down, shut up, and keep writing checks to the national party. That’s what the GOP thinks of us.

One thing that these politicians (including Obama) need to realize is Rush Limbaugh, and all the other radio talk show hosts that they like to criticize, aren't the ones sitting in Washington blowing our tax money like there is no tomorrow. The radio warriors aren't the ones enacting ridiculous and freedom threatening legislation.
Saying that they are just like the rest of us doesn't impress me very much. I personally believe that that the Rush Limbaugh Sean Hannity Neil Boortz' of the radio waves understand me better than the Washingtonians. Maybe they should listen to the radio and their constituents more.

I am also sorry to see that my comments in defense of our Republican Leadership read much harsher than they actually were intended... Well, your defense of the "Republican Leadership" is still an issue with me, Congressman, as they are behaving like scared schoolboys handing their lunchmoney to the school bully instead of standing up to him and fighting. When the leadership either grows a pair, or they all resign and we get some real FIGHTERS in there, expect a lot more slaps from the grass-roots. theDentist
