Even if all these folks voted no, Geithner still would have 52 votes, and still be confirmed.

Even if all these folks voted no, Geithner still would have 52 votes, and still be confirmed. Filibuster. He needed 58 votes to avoid that.
Even a one hour filibuster would have shown that the GOP had some backbone.

Well....if a tax cheat can head up IRS, why not?
I am sending my kids to summer camp this year and take it as a deduction for childcare expense. Hey what is good for Secretary of Treasury is good for any body.
