Rush said Obama would try to split the GOP from it’s conservative base. Barry’s in for a bigger fight than he knows.

I thought McCain was trying to do that. Of course, McCain did all but endorse his opponent in the race...

Barry doesn’t have to do a thing to split conservatives from the Republican leadership, they’re doing a fine job of that all by themselves. The Republican minority in Congress has made it clear as crystal that they’re going to go along in the spirit of “bipartisanship”, with McCain and Grahamnesty leading the way. They might lose their perks if they don’t , surely no one thinks they went there to actually represent the voters who put them there?

I don't know the Reps have done a very good job separating themselves form the conservative base.
