Afghanistan isnt going that well, but poking Pahhkistahn in the eye is a bit troubling
The area that I believe Bush should have went after a little harder is the region that Pakistan or any country seems to not have control of. I strongly believe that many of our enemy are held up there and if Pakistan is not willing to govern a part of its own region for fear of what trying to get control will unleash, then nobody is really in control of that region and it should be open to us to clear out.

I agree, BUT.. disregarding sovereignty also opens us up to getting Russia and China and India involved on feelings
Its a Holy mess over there. Warlords and waring tribes. At least Iraq understands governance.
Afghanistan will be a tuff nut to crack, and I have said this from day one. Afghanistan doesnt understand central governance, and tribes align with all kinds. Federalism is the only answer there. India has managed it, So I think its possible,but its so easy in a place like that to whip up hatred between tribes.
I wish Afghanistan luck
