To: PLD

I face some of the same comments about California. Folks advocate it breaking off as well.

My opinion of these ideas is that they are not only a sad reflection on the state of the nation, but more importantly the state of individual points of view.

We once were unified, but now our first reaction is to think of self or how we can break away and abandon the nation we supposedly love.

I want to hear plans to get this nation on track. I’m not interested in hearing how some special interest groups have determined how to save themselves and write off the rest of the nation.

I realize those comments weren’t your own. Don’t take this as a personal insult.

I have no idea where this came from, all I know is it has been around for years..I know it was around during the Clinton years because I got that copy..I really think it is a joke, but all true about Texas could survive without the rest of the country..I agree we should all stand together and fight..
