G-d Bless President Bush. I knew I would miss him since his first year in office.
Thank you Mr. President!
God Bless You!
Another great speech by President Bush! Sad to see him go. We’re going to miss him more and more as Obama and the far left congress start ramming their left-wing legislation down America’s throat.
Is there a way that we can write to President Bush and thank him? I think they disabled the e-mail box for the President on the whitehouse.gov website. I would imagine he was being inundated by hate mail from the looney Left.
Come the 20th, millions are going to realize the promotion of freedom we are losing.
Absent minded want for immediate Utopia without thought of personal freedom has led us to this demise.
God be with You President Bush and thank You for your leadership at a time when it was truly required of a leader by all.
You tote an eternal legacy because of your respect of freedom that many will only appreciate with time.
It is equally sickening to come here and see so many people getting petty at this moment.
Amen, kristinn
WE will welcome Presidnet Bush and Mrs. Bush back home in Midland on January 20th at Centenial Plaza from 1 :00 to 4:00.
What a great man! Someday the world will learn it as well.
I agree, and am going to miss him. I only had the amnesty problem with him and the not pardoning the border agents Compean and Ramos. I wish them the best and I will continue to urge the Obama administration with the pardoning of these wrongly convicted agents.
I especially enjoyed Pres. Bush’s comment about ‘making difficult decisions’ and how at least he did make difficult decisions. It reminded me of Obama’s voting record in the Senate, you know, his voting ‘present’ really was not making important decisions concerning legislation.
I would also like to thank the Vice President for being a strong supporter of our President. I also thank the Vice President would have made a great President, God forbid of course.
Also, a big thanks goes out to our First Lady. Laura Bush help bring back some dignity, honor, respect, and class to the White House.
May God bless the President and his family, the Vice President and his family, and our Troops.
I join all of you in thanking President Bush for being a LEADER of such extraordinary courage, character and VISION . . . We will not see his like again soon!
Well done, Commander In Chief.
Well done.
I'll ditto that, Kristinn, and I'll add that it was my pleasure to find this website during the Bush admninistration, to be able to share the experiences under the leadership of the only president for whom I voted - and won. (Bush 41, Dole, and Palin/the other guy didn't, Dukakis Thankfully didn't.)
Thanks to JimRob, the Mods, and the firebrand posters here who take on the drive by trolls and put them in their place. Slightly off thread, but hey - credit where credit is due!
Bush is always gracious - there were many times when I wished he’d be a little less gracious, I admit - but he has class and I think that’s going to be something we’ll miss.
We owe him a lot. For those people who blame him for failing the GOP, I think it was actually the GOP that failed him a lot of the time. He didn’t get much support even from his own party, and many of them were all too happy to jump on the hate Bush bandwagon. He had a very hard presidency and he handled it extremely well.
We’re going to be missing him sorely in the next few years, I bet.
Oh GOD... Please don’t go!
God Bless you Mr. President. Thank you so much... so much
This Nation is greater because of you, and will be less with out you at the helm.
Stay safe, and rest easy in the knowledge that history will record you as one of our finest presidents, and among the strongest. For myself, the most beloved.
Thank you President Bush.
Danae
Only three words from me: GOD BLESS YOU
May God bless President Bush and Vice President Cheney. May the road rise up to meet them and may the wind be at their backs.
My family is very grateful for their service to our nation.
Although there have been better presidents, none has been more decent, honest, patriotic, humble and genuine. Some of his policies were misguided, but in all I believe history will judge his service very positively. Thank you, President and Mrs. Bush for your dedicted service to our country.
