My guess is that Fitz intentionally screws up this case, in order to give Obama cover for dismissing him on Jan 20. Had you read the article, you would know that this case has absolutely nothing to do with Obama, Blago or any of their confederates.

Outside of the links to Obama’s and Blago’s foreign “investment” group! (foreign donor base), it has nothing to do with anything ~ it’s just out and out INCOMPETENCE of the most peculiar kind.

Sorry, you missed my point.
I know this isn't the Blago case, but messing up on THIS case gives Obama the plausible deniability to fire Fitzpatrick without claiming that it was because of the Blago case.
Obama can cite "other" cases that had mistakes made.
