Unless these cars were really strapped down they will have to be scrapped.
I watched aloaded automotive rail car simulator for a while once, but don't think it went through a simulated roll over. ;-)
One can haul through there using the M$ Rail Simulator game.
WOW - I and my family were on the Empire Builder from Chicago that weekend ... I saw the previous derailment on our way east the week before ... the train was 13 hours late leaving Seattle on the 19th. and 8 hours late leaving Chicago. We had to stay overnight in Seattle because we missed the ferry and bus ride (2 of them) home ... it still beats flying commercial though ....when we left Chicago people were sleeping in the terminal (3 days) on cots (if you could get them) they also had to pay for their own food. AMTRAK in Seattle bought Subway sandwiches for all plus water twice that evening. No airline provided anything for their people - Go AMTRAK!
