30 enemy killed and it makes headlines - worldwide!
The IDF invades with thousands and kills a handful - and it makes headlines — worldwide..
In our era and “our war”, we’ve had a fireteam or two of Marines kill more than that in a single night’s ambush and never even earn an “attaboy” from the Gunny.
What am I missing?

Hamas wanted a ground war......they have one now. By tomorrow the reported civilian dead will be 10 times Hamas causalities....reality has nothing to with what happens on the ground.

The IDF would not enter Gaza City or the refugee camps, defense officials said, and it was likely that on Monday...Israel would begin scaling back the operations. "This will be a lengthy operation and there will likely be casualties on our side," a senior defense official said.
These folks need to get their stories straight.
