"At the moment, from the perspective of the last days, we understand this step as a defensive, not offensive, action," Czech EU presidency spokesman Jiri Potuznik said. Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg is leading an EU delegation to the region on Sunday, and Potuznik said the presidency will wait to see the results of that visit. However, France condemned Israel's move to send ground forces into Gaza. "France condemns the Israeli ground offensive against Gaza as it condemns the continuation of rocket firing," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. "This dangerous military escalation complicates efforts by the international community and in particular the European Union and France, the members of the Quartet and the states in the region to end the fighting, bring immediate aid to civilians and reach a permanent ceasefire," the statement said. 'Luxury of telling the truth' The Czech Republic already defended Israel's strikes against Hamas last week. At the time, Foreign Minister Schwarzenberg said Israel had the right to defend itself. "Let us realize one thing: Hamas increased steeply the number of rockets fired at Israel since the ceasefire ended on Dec. 19. That is not acceptable any more," Schwarzenberg told daily Mlada Fronta Dnes in an interview. Schwarzenberg, a staunch ally of Washington, said Hamas had excluded itself from serious political debate due to its rocket attacks on Israel. He also indirectly blamed the group for the growing death toll, saying it put its bases and gun warehouses in densely populated areas. "Why am I one of the few that have expressed understanding for Israel? ... I am enjoying the luxury of telling the truth," Schwarzenberg told the daily.
In other words, “Screw islam and it’s pig idol.”
What WILL the Israeli government DO without such crucial support from the leader of axis of weasles???
It’s not “Europe” supporting Israel, but the Czechs who have the figurehead Presidency of the EU. The powerful EU countries of course are as usual rooting for “diplomacy” and “ceasefires”.

Fair commentary but does anybody know the Czech policy of admitting Muslims into their country? How many? What disruptions have occurred? Are they looking to stabilize that population or do as some other European countries are beginning to rethink and prohibit more of that immigration to poison their countries?

The German wikipedia article has more and better information. According to it, there are only 2 mosques in the Czech Republic and the permissions for mosques has been made stricter. Most of the 10-20,000 muslims are from the Balkans.

Money talks, but what is the actual connection for major european countries?

I believe politicians as a rule almost always lie, but this comment is entertaining in that while it may not be true (what is his freedom personally in this?), it may show the truth to another lie (that other EU countries have any freedom to PO the gulf states/saudia arabla).
What makes you think that The Gulf States (are you sure you know which states they are?) in reality give anything more than an obligatory passing thought to what the European countries think of the Palestinian/Israel problem.
Even Iran is simply making the obligatory noises for their own purposes. None of them really care about the Palestinians. For the most part they assuage their conscience with donations, other aid and flowery speeches, that’s all.
As regards Saudi Arabia, that country will do exactly what it is told to do by the USA, just as it has done for most of the last 20 years. They have no special relationship with Europe other than a tenuous one via their relationship with USA militarily/defence wise.
It isn’t Saudi Arabians or Gulf State nationals who are the muslims emigrating into Europe. In fact there are far more Americans, Brits and Europeans living in Saudi and the Gulf States than there are Saudis or Gulf nationals living in USA/Uk/mainland Europe.
