Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says both her 18-year-old daughter Bristol, who gave birth to son Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Saturday, and fiance Levi Johnston are working hard to balance schoolwork with their new parental obligations, People Magazine reported.
"You need to know that both Levi and Bristol are working their butts off to parent and going to school and working at the same time," the Alaska governor told the magazine in a phone message. "They are certainly not high school dropouts."
Any suggestion to the contrary "harms Bristol's reputation and Levi's reputation and their chances for good work opportunities," Pail said.

I’m not disappointed in my family. I’m just honest about them. None of us has perfect families. They do things to hurt us but as parents, we love them anyway.
Hasn’t she learned yet that the msm are not her friends and never will be? I sincerely hope she can figure out how to get around them like Reagan. In the meantime, she needs to quit giving them ammunition.
As a social conservative, I would note that live birth and abortion were not Bristol Palin’s only options. There was also not getting pregnant in the first place and maybe even... keeping her legs together until she got married. If many on even the Right no longer consider out-of-wedlock pregnancy and birth shameful, then marriage is purely optional, and talking about respect for the institution becomes farcical.***

God doesn’t call us to abandon standards or give bad behavior a pass. Calling me a liberal and an abortion supporter shows you have some gift for invention, but amounts to nothing more than straw man tactics.
I’ve been doing research on my entire family back to my grandmother’s parents, etc. She was born a couple of months after they married. My dad was born out of wedlock. My sister had a couple of children out of wedlock and THEY have had chilren out of wedlock, and now my great niece is pregnant, no husband. This is a generational ‘curse’ as we say in christianspeak. Even in my mom’s family (all in Norway) there were many children born out of wedlock or ‘just in time.’ I’d like to see my generations do things differently and believe me, I talk to my granddaughters about it all the time. I pray it works.
My uncle always had a saying, “The first child can come at any time but the second one takes nine months.” Back in the old days, it was common b/c people actually still got married. Now they’ll have the kid and never get married or get married when the kid is age six or something.
Call me what you want, but I am living in a very realistic place where I KNOW what the enemy is capable of.
Be complacent all you want. I will not be nor will I stand by and let ignorant people defile a family (the Palins) the way the left has done- completely unchallenged by any conservatives, including many here on FR. Its time to take the nice gloves off and get real.
