It happens 2 or three times a week in Tidewater VA. Young black men killing other young black men. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t tune in the local news until about 10 after the hour. I miss the story about which black guy shot which black guy and I catch the weather.
There is a great neee for a moral rebirth in America, and particularly in the black community. In the black community, the only institution that would be capable is the black church, and the black churches have ceded that responsibility when they made themselves subservient to the left.
I don't dare name it.
Totalitarian governments always regard the family unit as their primary adversary. The great society started to prey on the weakest family units-the poor-and since has been gradually moving up the ladder. Drugs major tool to achieve these ends as well.
I think the leftists devised this system on purpose -- force children to grow up in chaotic circumstances, encourage families to break apart, and you end up with generations of damaged people who will be government clients of one sort or another. The left suggests the solution to this problem is more abortions of minority children, dumb-down schools even more, and ban guns.
We can think about it though.
But, reading any Lieberal site one would hear that those convicted are unfairly incarcerated, targeted for being black.
If 12.8% of the population commits 50% of murders, that means that Blacks commit murder at ~ 5 X the rate of whites!!!
Sounds like we need more Bill Cosby's preaching to the blacks than the REV. Jacksonnnn!

When Bill Bennett made a comment about aborting black babies and it would reduce crime rate then the press was all over him about being racist. When teens in Jena was jailed for crimes committed then we got outcry of “Free the Jena 6”. When Bill Cosby spoke up about introspection of black criminal behavior he was critized. And even when B.H.O. spoke out against deadbeat dads he inflamed much of the black population. These actions and comments do not offer solutions.
And in the words of the late Richard Pryor, "Thank God We Got Penitientiaries."

But they fail, because they use methods other than race-baiting and poverty-pimping, therefore getting labeled "Uncle Tom" and "race traitor" and "Oreo" and a few other things not mentionable here.
The Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world blame every thing on whitey, convince the young blacks that they cannot do anything without ripping it from whitey first and completely negate any will on the part of the youth to actually pull themselves out of their decay.
Then, you have the Rev. Wrights and the Obama types.
Let's not get into the Farrakhan nut balls.
An actually successful black, one that "made it" on their own merits is excoriated, accused of riding the whitey trail.
Then, of course, there is the held-out promise of "reparations".
There are those in the black community that are actually waiting for the "reparations" and counseling others to do the same.
Philandering fathers are held in high esteem...it's "cool" to jump from bed to bed and to have as many "conquests" as possible; the more bastard children you have running around, why, the more virile you are!
A vicious cycle.
I have no solution, and I absolutely guarantee you that the POS soon to be in the White House will have no solution.
He's too busy fanning the flames of his own "coolness" and "hip" image, witness the latest liberal media fawning and the publication of his "cool" pictures and pectoral displays.
No it is 5 times the rate of all other races combined.
Let us not forget that there are probably at least a million Hispanic gang members in America who are busy killing each other and probably another 200,000 Asian gang members doing the same. I'd venture to guess that Blacks are committing murder at a rate about 20 times that of whites.
