Au contraire. The “Sandi” situation involved her not getting a job because JJJ had refused to make a campaign contribution to Blago. It’s not the Senate seat situation, but it’s all part of the “pay to play” style of Blago. I don’t know if he could be indicted for NOT making an appointment because he DIDN’T get a campaign contribution, but it might be useful supporting evidence of a pattern and practice should the Senate seat sale charges go to trial.
