Going back 20 years demanding the money back...

There must be some statute of limitations on these things...


There will be people who have to turn over cash from 20 years ago. Cash they may not have. Cash it is too late to amend taxes on.

It could take years to sort out who has to pay back what. Many people who were invested in other hedge funds that did not know they were invested with Madoff will be surprised that they are being ordered to fork over cash. But they will.

Think I saw somewhere the Illegal Conveyance law (or whatever applies in this case) extends back 6 years.
