Darn! I gave to Prop 8 and my name isn’t listed! Can’t the leftist do anything right?
I actually know atheists who don’t like the religious connotation of the word marriage who would like to have a civil union.

I suddenly wish I had contributed, just so I could be on the list.
And I wish I had made it clear in my post that I would be listed as being in favor of Prop. 8. My Texas residency made it impossible for me to vote on it.
Included in those donating funds against the Prop was $12,000 from something called Strengthening California Through Leadership. Now this outfit in reality is the local campaign committee of Asembly Majority Leader Karen Bass. (As of October the SCTL had some $600,000 on hand.) This is just another fancy way of getting around both state and national campaign finance laws. Donors to that organization include every state and local union on the Democrat teat and Bass can use the funds in any way she chooses.
Yes. We are going to have to use our economic buying power to have boycotts and confront these people. The Fairness Doctrine, companies supporting liberal causes, the totally corrupt MSM news media. The ONLY way to stop them from hurting us is to hurt them economically and hit them in their pocketbook.
60+ million of us voted for (RINO) McCain. You only need a small portion boycotting companies, TV, newspapers, magazines to really send a message and hurt these companies.
I am done with TV. They are 100% behind Obama. I am cancelling cable and I will be telling them why. Some conservatives may say “well I like TV and watching ball games.” My responses is “is your country and your children’s future more important than watching TV?” People just rationalize it or say “we will get em in 2010 or 2012” but we need to get them now.
Obama, the media, ACORN and Franken are about to steal the election from Norm Coleman. The corruption, contempt for the Constitution and contempt for our rights is staggering.
We need to get to work on these boycotts in early 2009 to stop these people or we will have to take far more drastic action down the road.

Have you checked all the categories? Often, donors will be listed categorically - by amounts given, whether by corporation or individuals, by demographic, by profession, etc. California usually has some excellent data sites in re political donations.
Whoo... Things sure have changed in schools since my Mom taught there back in the 50s! That was wayyy back in the past in California! But I’m not sure she belonged to a union or anything. She’s taught in Maryland (substituted at times)and Utah (mostly Cali. and Utah)full time.
She said she didn’t want to get into the teachers’ unions because they were too expensive, I think. She definitely wouldn’t join w/them now; especially since they’ve gone even more left-wing than they were back when she was teaching!
