I may be way off base here but I was in Honolulu in 1975. At a bar several guys asked me to dance. I was chicken and had to get my nerve up, finally I said yes.It just happened to be a black guy. My cousin did the same thing. After a few dances with several black guys the management came to our table and told us to leave because we were on the verge of starting a race riot. If Honolulu had that kind of racial tension in 1975, how come no one seems to remember either Barack senior or junior?
Sr was often with his classmates and fellow students such as Neil Abercrombie. Jr spent more time at the basketball court and left HI at the age of 18. He didn’t have a lot of spare time since he spent summers and Christmases with his mother in Indonesia once she went back there in 1974.
That is something that bugs me about this whole thing. An unwed mother was a scandal back then, a white unwed mother with a black child........that would have been a disaster. People definately would remember it, AND it would have been the headline in the gossip web for months.
