I see Jr right in there thinking this was a step up, and trying to out bid Obama. BTW, the Blago fundraiser did happen.
There was an obvious bidding war, Obama wanted a friendly Senate spy, and was trying to outbid the competition.

Jackson is squirming (and leaking disinformation)!
CNN reported late Tuesday, citing two unnamed people close to the congressman. Jackson has served as an informant for "more than a decade" and has related information about Blagojevich since 2006, according to the report. Jackson has said federal prosecutors told him he is not a target of their investigation.

Brian Williams was all atwitter tonight about this.
He reported that JJ jr has been ratting out Rod for at least two years.
Although, not on this specific case.
Something doesn’t smell right about JJjr
suddenly confessing to being Chicago’s Sammy the Bull Gravano on all things Blogo,
except the Senate seat.
