This would be a great time for conservative talk host and authors to start a real conservative station.

Sniff....first our beloved Tony Snow(Woof) leaving this earth and now Brit leaving the airwaves. He will be sorely missed, though I have to confess I was furious at him and the SO CALLED panel over their actions towards Palin. I really believe Brit is the last of the great fair and balance reporters of our generation. My heart broke for him and his wife when I heard the news that his son had committed suicide. It took a tremendous toll on him. His facial expressions told the story..He always looked so sad... SIGH :(
My best wishes for a peaceful retirement and God's blessings upon him and his family. He will be missed!

He came out with some very odd stuff in the last days of the election campaign, but hes done great work over the years.I wonder if he's been communing with the spirit of William Sloane Coffin? Something very Body Snatcherish seems to be going on.

Fox is starting to lean left so the timing is good.Fox started turning left some time around Katrina, and has progressed even farther. But for a few good folks, the network is full of lefties. Brit is a good, stand-up guy who will be missed.
I don't see anybody on the network that can fill his shoes.

Same here. No Fox since well before the election and the others have been off my radar for years.

I love Brit's professionalism and fairness.
One of the few long-time journalists (of ANY medium) with true competence and ethical strength.
Best wishes, sir.

Powerful testimony.
Indeed. I hope Brit can, in this stage of his life, utilize his testimony and his exceptional communication skills to further the cause of Christianity.

Alas, he seems to think Barack Obama is a moderate. It is probably good timing.

I'm 65 soon will be 66 and don't feel a day over 40!
65 is not OLD...at 65 we still cook, clean, do laundry, keep in touch with family, friends, travel, go shopping, go on vacation, put out a big garden, cann the produce from the garden, take care of our pup, give her baths, haircuts, I still cut hubby's and son's hair...65 is not the end of the world and we collect our social security...so all you YOUNG dudes keep working...LOL

I wonder if Tony Snow's passing caused Brit to give more thought about life.
I sure miss Mr. Snow... will miss Mr. Hume too.

Brit’s Faith shined through in his reporting. His common sense was always there. I wish Brit the best in retirement.

I’ll miss you, Brit, and I wish you well!
He mentioned this on Special Report a few months ago, and for the reason why, he showed a vid of a cryptkeeper type behind the mic, and said he didn’t want to be on when everybody got HDTV. LOL!
To: stillonaroll
The only decent anchorman on TV, and he’s leaving. Kind of says it all about our future under Obama.
