US judge who gave to Obama won't be disciplined

And, the door to repeated unethical behavior has been left WIDE OPEN!

He did say the donation was unethical but noted that Campbell had promised no similar donations in the future

Just dont let you or I do this, is this part of the CHANGE?

Whoever comes thru this court in the future should expect the same consideration. If they promise not to do something again they should not be disciplined.

Oh to be without scruples in this world and be able to get away with it. Imagine how much easier it would be to get ahead. /sarc

The powerful will continue to consolidate power and the powerless will continue to cling to guns and religion. Oh wait, that makes us not so powerless, now doesn’t it (obviously in reference to the religion part ;), I’m not trying to incite a revolution).

Okay, back to lurk mode (gotta say this stuff while the 1st amendment is still somewhat intact).

Sandy Burglar who steals documents promises not to do it again. Hillary Clinton who has illegal FBI files in White House promises not to do it again. The list goes on and on. I’m sure other FReepers can add to it.

I couldnt find a photo of federal judge Tena Campbell,,, so i don’t want to jump to conclusions. If shes the same skin color as Barak, that might explain why she cant normally be punished. Still,,,it is possible being a liberal woman MIGHT be enough.

Also,,,i noted that she said she didnt understand the law,,, she thot it meant she couldnt give speeches and stuff for Barak. Everyone needs to relax,,, how can you expect a federal judge to know federal law? Jeeeezzzz, what a demanding crowd.

This judge should be disciplined. He broke the law. It’s that simple.

Just like the golfer who discovered he was playing with an illegal ball spoke the truth and was disqualified.

Just like one of our dogs who had to be disqualified from the show this weekend because of a limp (he picked up a sticker or piece of glass; but will be alright and will compete in other shows); we accepted the ruling because it is the rule.

Why is out here in the public; we are obeying the rules; while our judges of all people and our elected officials find nothing wrong with breaking them? Just the like the married woman who decided to have a fling with the head (unmarried)of a dog show venue was eventually banned from showing dogs in that show venue. She should have been banned because it looked like there would be favoritism.

There are two Americas. One of exceptions to the rule for Democrats and one of a pervasive culture of corruption when a Republican does something.

So you get one free bite of the apple before you’re disciplined? Why do I think if a judge had contributed to a Republican candidate they would throw the book at him?
