There’s always the 5-10 top cities getting nuked possibility still. The islamics haven’t just given up for good.
When they get to be able to do it, that’ll be the end.

If this is the same intelligence report that was posted here the other day, it mentioned that one of their greatest concerns was the use of biological agents by terrorists by 2025.

I’m amazed they haven’t been able to do it yet. I’m still not convinced about the anthrax attack entirely though.

I call half crap and half truth, on this idiotic article

Global warming: crap

US Military nondominance: truth
There are several itterations of our US surface fleet that are getting long in the tooth. Normally, these older surface vessels would be replaced by newer, more capable ones. Same goes for our aging aircraft, the JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) is now as dead as can be. Obama has come right out and said he would gut our military.

Bottom line:

Our traditional allies need to be “poopin in thier pants”, (and if you’re french, “poopin in your panties”).

But I digress. Maybe everyone in the world will suddenly love us, because the new guy in the white house don’t look like any of the guys on our money. Personnaly I aint holdin my breath.

You also have to look at the massive influx of foreign nationals who could care less about the world standing of the US or foreign policy aims except in relation to their own nations.

It all does indeed sound like a bunch of far flung horse crap but there is a growing chorus of doom saying. That being said the U.S. other than possibly being a main target, is in better shape than anywhere else in the world to once again prosper. We happen to have the worlds greatest concentration of all necessary resources.

Any report that starts off with talking about global warming ruining crops/water by 2025 can’t be taken seriously at all.

Last paragraph from the article:

Of course, these projections are hardly certain. Analysts note that most past attempts to look ahead have been turned out to be wrong. But the report is aimed at starting the policy dialogue as a new Administration maps its strategy.

But, of course, we all knew that.

Look, this article has been all over the news, not just CBS. I don’t agree with all of its assessments, for many of the same reasons that have been mentioned — crystal balls aren’t reliable; heard all the doom and gloom before, etc.

But, it is just common sense that you can’t stay the lone superpower forever, so they are probably not off base with that.

“Global warming”? It’s one thing to argue that it is “a man-made catastrophe”, and another to acknowledge that we are having some changes in our weather patterns whatever the cause. Do I think that the latter is possible? Sure. If it does happen, could it create issues with the food supply? Yeah, OK.

But there may be a real “Inconvenient Truth” in this — that we aren’t going to be king of the hill anymore because we aren’t the “America” that we once were — the producers, the innovators, the ones who led by example, the country who used to be the standard bearers of Truth and Justice, the country whose currency was “sound as a dollar”. We’ve morphed into something unrecognizable, even to ourselves, and it isn’t serving us — or anyone else. That’s a real possibility, and if true, it sure as hell isn’t going to get better with Obama — it’s going to get worse.

The opening act will be the Chicoms seizure of Taiwan. Watch for it. The pieces will soon all be in place.

This is weird. That’s the same year that the Commie fags in the MSM say that “whitey” will become a minority in this country. Funny how that sh*t works.

Is it just me or did we see similar stories published when Carter was President? Looks like the press is busy trying to bring an end to the Republic!

Climate changes from global warming will lead to shortages of food and water in dozens of countries.

Ummmm, even Gore is dropping the "global warming" stuff - he's moving to climate change - which is an itty bit less bogus.
