Given that the federal constitution doesn't expressly delegate power to the federal government to regulate marriage, the 10th A. automatically reserves government power to regulate marriage uniquely to the states.

10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

As I've ranted before, I'm glad that Obama won the election for the following reason. The people will ultimately be forced to reconnect with the Constitution and its history in order to stop constitutionally clueless Obama from using his misguided pen to wrongly usurp state powers.

Well, we can dream and pray. But we all know that for decades the RATS use our beloved Constitution as a door mat. And a growing majority of the voters don’t have a clue about the Constitution.

“Expelled” was part of a miracle for me last month.

I was in Cincinnati, Ohio for the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities convention. Thursday of that week was hard - even without the usual ASBH convention bias for “physician assisted death,” abortion and embryonic stem cells - because that night was the annual banquet for our local pregnancy crisis assistance center. At home in Texas.

I tried a new way to go back to the hotel (I don’t ever do this, being a coward in strange cities) and walked past the sign-up table for Hands of Hope, the local pro-life, pro-family group. They were showing “Expelled” at the theater next to the convention.

I got to spend the evening with good people watching a movie I hadn’t seen, instead of feeling sorry for myself at the hotel.

My hair is literally standing on end reading this - cold shivers. Obama is really going off into the abyss full bore. The worst of the worst. Perhaps people who care about right and wrong, evil and virtue - are going to have to make some hard decisions. Going along with evil, even tacitly, not rocking the boat, keeping silent when our heart is saying to speak out - make us accomplices.

Civil disobedience of some kind might be in our future, or having to quit jobs, or saying or doing things that bring negative attention upon us.

He told me that he had an unusual visitor a couple of years after 9-11. The man said he was fired from a top job at a national security agency because he was trying to cut out the BS and doing his job too aggressively. He went on and was hinting of many potential possibilities of nuke attacks that the gov was not taking seriously. He said we should prepare for the very worst and to get our affairs in order.

I wouldn't discount what he said. Several months before the 9/11 attacks, there was a man within either the FBI or CIA or some such security organization, who raised concerns about an airplane attack on the Towers like the one that happened. He was blown off by his superiors.

I pretty much knew the story by heart from research for the blog and one of my papers about the “war” between believers and non-believers.

I was just grateful to be able to spend the evening with believers, rather than the other side.

However, I was disturbed that the people involved were not prepared or preparing themselves to answer the tough questions. During the question and answer period, I was shocked to hear a woman say that evolution is “just a theory,” and no one informed her what a “theory” is in science.

Fortunately, there were some good people attending the conference for the weekend, and I started running into them the very next day.

Somehow, we have to begin to identify ourselves and to stand strong together.

I went to a celebration at Al Melvin’s house this evening. We are feeling very hopeful in AZ; we have a conservative house and senate, and will have a coervative, godly governor.

We must pray that the values in AZ and other pro-life states will spread to the hearts of the faithful in the rest of the nation, and that the evil intentions of this new administration will be stopped in its tracks through the intercession of millions of God’s angels.
