I am awaiting clarification from the Clerk's office at the United States Supreme Court as to whether my stay application has now been accepted in lieu of a more formal full petition for certiorari (and/or mandamus or prohibition). Such a transformation is a rare and significant emergency procedure. It was used in Bush v. Gore, a case I have relied on in my brief.
We do know the case has certainly been "DISTRIBUTED for Conference", a process usually reserved for full petitions of certiorari. Stays are usually dealt with in a different manner. As to a stay application, a single Justice may; a) deny the stay; b) grant the stay; c) refer the stay to the full Court.

There's much evidence Obama's allegiance at the very least is split. He went to Berlin and professed to the crowd he was a world citizen. In 2006, he campaigns in Kenya on behalf for Marxist Odinga. Refused early in his presidential campaign to wear the American flag lapel. Worked for and is friends with Bill Ayers a fellow ideological traveler. Hangs out with like minded buddies, Louis Farrakhan, and his G-D pastor. Has had multiple citizenships. And it goes on....
I've pointed out on a FR post or two that Obama is a textbook case why the U.S. Constitution has the clause no person except a "Natural Born Citizen" shall be eligible to be President.
Who cares?
If his mom was an American, why does his birthplace matter?
Can somebody fill in what I’m missing here?

Thanks for the info, TruthWillWin. I don’t expect much from Rush...matter of fact I believe I have expected too much from him in the past. He has disappointed me and has, in my opinion, become one of “them” no matter what he says.

Itgets complicated. With Obama DQ’d, logically it would go to McCain, but the Electoral College MIGHT not give him a majority.....then it goes to the House of Reps, where they would have to decide among the 3 candidates NOT disqualified who received the most electoral votes...by default that would go to McCain. The VP is decided seperately, so you would have a Mcain as Preez and Biden as VP. However, if it were to go past January 20, then sworn-in Obama would have to step down and Biden would assume the Presidency (Frightening thought!),
Another senario is if Obama is DQ’d after he gets the majority of Electoral College votes, then Biden would be the acting President-Elect, according to the 20th Amendment.

Leo has layes of claims in case he gets shot down on any other them. Obama admits he was born a British citizen because his father was from Kenya then Zanzibar and a British colony or protectorate.
The Framers of the Constitution were born in England. The wanted to insure no English “agents’ became President. They also knew they were the only ones who could be President at the start. They had an exemption.
So Obama has to be at least 200 years old or he is inelgible because his father was a British citizen.
This is claim #1. It is rock solid. The Framers were deathly afraid a English “agent” could become President or any foreigner.
Does not need a birth certificate. Leo then has more layers like where he was born, dual citizenship and more. Leo told other attorneys (keyes attroney Kreep) do not hang your hat on him being born in Kenya, have more layers of claims.
Not an expert here, but if the President-elect were disqualified before the electoral college does its voting, I believe the votes go to the candidate with the highest votes, which would be McCain. I think Veep is decided separately, so Biden would still be VP.
After they’ve done their voting, I think it would mean President Joe Biden... Oy vey...
Others said Dems keep their electors and it would go to Hillary.
This is Ayers/Alinsky Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm the system. Take out the whole financial system, get illegals marching, wipe out the middle class to consolidate power and leave the masses broke and stunned. The avg American is already stunned.
Biden told us about this before the election. He slipped up.
And it's a shame, too, because regardless of Obama's qualifications, it's an interesting thing to think about. And certainly we need to fully understand the meaning of "natural born" and whether having dual citizenship matters.

Yes, because a dual citizen would not have singular loyalty to the US. Much the same as a naturalized citizen would not have singular loyalty.
In a nutshell, If Obama was born overseas, the law at the time did not recognize the baby as a ‘natural born citizen’ if the American parent was a minor and the other parent was a foreign national. And the law that took effect in 1986 which superseded the other statute did not retroactively change the citizenship status of babies born under previous said law.
