I love a roaring fireplace and hate the government of San Francisco. Don’t believe in man made global warming.

But soot from burning wood is a serious pollutant and among the worst at damaging lungs. Everyone in my neighborhood has a fireplace and it gets hard to breathe out there at night.

Just saying.

Then, you buy a stove with a catalyst. Problem solved.

If it works for oil, it should work for everything else.
