It does mention later in the article that she is a "liberal democrat" and finds space for this...
Until this year, the last time a state senator resigned as a result of a criminal investigation was 1977, when Ronald MacKenzie, a Republican from Burlington, gave up his seat because of a bribery scandal.

Since the report failed to mention it, I assume the perp is a DEMOCRAT. I couldn’t help but notice that, while also omitting party affiliation of the other DEMOCRAT who also resigned (last week) following criminal indictent, they DID manage o identify as a Republican the last congressman to resign — this in 1977. Great reporting, that.

What ever became of State Rep Barbara L'Italien...
She got booted from her Catholic Church after 2004 Election... (Booted from her position as Children's Choir Director since she was a source of scandal for her support of abortion...) This was Saint Augustine in I believe Landover, Massachusetts...
Maybe Barbara looks up to politicians such as Wilkerson -- she might be Barbara's heroine...

Oh, this is about corruption. Killing innocent itty-bitty-babies is not criminal or a form of corruption (though the mafia helps to run abortion clinics)...
