Yep, I know. We shall see. If the RNC does ice her out, it will be time to burn the house down!

I think it would be GREAT if Gov Palin came to GA. There have already been rallies with Sen. McCain, Zell Miller, and I believe Gov. Huckabee.

Many here in GA would love to see a true conservative fighting to keep the Dems from getting the magic #60 in the Senate.

So how many people showed up for McCain and Huckabee? Just curious.

I agree but I also believe she needs to get back to Alaska to do her job. Who has been running Alaska for the last three months???

I heard/read somewhere that Saxby was trying to get her to GA the weekend before the election. They said her calendar was tight but they thought they could make it work.

Saxby is in trouble, because he has lost the base.

An example:

I went to the FairTax rally last Saturday (hastily put together to drum up some support for Chambliss.) Speakers included radio host Neil Boortz, Congressman John Linder, Gov. Huckabee, & Sen. Saxby Chambliss (who spoke last.) When Chambliss started to speak, people started to leave the hall. Not a ton, but a number so significant that it was noticable (I was at the back of the room, and people were going past me to get out during most of Chambliss’ speech.)

Huckabee was greeted to chants of “Huckabee, Huckabee”. Neil Boortz to chants of “Boortz, Boortz”, then “Neil, Neil” (he made jokes about both.) Chambliss? Nothing. When he got up to speak he made a joke about not wanting to hear the Boortz chant again yelled at him (which should have been a queue for a “Saxby, Saxby” chant.) Nothing.

This is a group that should be the core of Chambliss’ support. There should have been enthusiastic Chambliss support, but there wasn’t. There were plenty of people wearing Saxby stickers, but the enthusiasm for Chambliss was just missing. They are ticked about the Martin ads (that mischaracterize the FairTax), and are plenty mad enough to go vote AGAINST Martin, but not a lot for Chambliss.

Huckabee? 2000 but the rally was for the Fairtax. Huckabee and Chambliss only happened to be there.

The powerful entrenched GOP leaders don’t want Palin and would only try to ruin her in some way. We don’t need these people. We need them like rabbits need rattlers.

Answering your BLITZ—ah, post—When GA has a guy like Zell Miller, you don’t need anyone else. A true American.

I love the Palin family as much as the Romney family. I wish that Palin would pick Romney for Vice President. That would be the perfect ticket ever. I know some people have reservations about Romney, but I think as Vice President he would be fine because Palin would run the country solely with Romney continuing with the economy and strenghts he has. He could not push his negatives with her and she doesn’t have any so we would have an absolutely perfect America.

Do you really believe there has ever been, or ever will be, an absolutely perfect America? Palin does lack the worldview and knowledge of how we got where we are today, how we are so horribly divided, she needs education and time to study history; she has a family and has not had time to do this, you can’t take a crash course in it. Someday she will I think be one of our leaders (provided the nation survives BOhica)

To: ebiskit; All

My little posting with Palin certainly does bring out the crazies... Thanks for winning me a bet...

laffing all the way to the bank...

but i digress...

The reason I want her campaign here in Geoergia is that the dhimms are about to have an unfettered reign on yours and my wallet. But the ‘majority’ of you seem to be ignorant of the coming of the ‘super-majority.’ What ever happened to the “balance of power” mantra parroted by the left?

Saxby may not be perfect, but he came out for the FAIRTAX, and that is THE Deal-Maker with me. The rest of you can wallow with the IRS if you choose, I want the gaggle of DC thieves skrate-outta my pocket.

Yes. What a great place this would be , wouldn’t it! He is living proof that politics doesn’t corrupt every person. Will never forget him speaking at the R Convention in ‘04.
