I believe if the FF were alive today, he would be ruled INELIGIBLE for the simple fact that at birth, he AT THE VERY LEAST held dual-citizenship. He has ipso-facto stated this on his FightTheSmears website. The point of the “natural” born citizenship was to guard against divided loyalties and foregin influence. He has admitted to this in effect.
He certainly should have “STANDING.”
I like the approach vis a vis the electors.
How much difference would that make on the elector count?
Given the stooopid cases that have been in front of the courts, this one seems to be far from frivolous, and actually has direct bearing on....wait for it.... the clear reading of THE CONSTITUTION! This is not "legislating from the bench", this is ACTUAL INTERPRETATION of what the document really says. I say, go for it.

There is so much BS and worse thrown around on this issue that obviously otherwise sensible and clear-headed folks are becoming befuddled.
There is perhaps a genuine Hawaiian COLB floating around out there, but it is a worthless document in this context, as it does not document the circumstances of the birth, and is not “best evidence”.
Best evidence, and the only document likely to be accepted by a judge, is the actual, state certified, vault copy of the birth certificate filed with the State of Hawaii at or near the time of Obama’s birth.
I have two of these for my kids born in Hawaii in the same general time frame as Obama, and they look nothing like the piece of paper bandied about as Obama’s “COLB”.
One must also remember that Hawaii law permits the registration of birth of children born elsewhere when the parent(s) are Hawaii residents absent from the state for a temporary purpose and have not abandoned their Hawaii residence. This would have permitted Ann Dunham to have registered Obama’s birth on or about the 8th of August upon her return to Hawaii from Kenya, if that is indeed what happened.
The expectation is that the information on the vault copy of the certificate created at the time of registration would clear up this issue and perhaps others, such as paternity.
Information on the vault copy of the birth certificate would validate or disprove many of the theories and timelines out there.
It would be interesting to know, for example, if the birth were registered before or after Ann Dunham’s visit to Washington State only days after the birth. If she were to have bee in Washington with the baby before the date of registration, it would infer that she had been on her way back to Hawaii before the registration was filed. On her way back from where? Kenya?
The only reason anyone can come up with why Obama is fighting so hard to keep this document sealed is that it contains information which would prove embarrassing to him at the least, and disqualifying at worst.
It is incredible to me that anyone would fight so hard to keep this basic document hidden from public view, and that the authorities seem to think it is OK to do so, especially when it goes to the very heart of our constitution and the eligibility to occupy the highest office in the land.
It boggles my mind that no court has yet ordered this document produced for public examination.
But, the time is coming when that may well happen.
If he can prove his status as a natural born citizen, so be it. If not, he and the Democrats have cheated us all of a legitimate election.
And if anything that “exploits” a whole race of people, it’s Islam.
