The rallying cry appears to be something like ‘...forget God, just be GOOD...’. Problem is, without God, nobody really knows what ‘good’ is.
It worked really well in Russia.
I don't seem to have a problem figuring out how to keep on people's good side and stay out of trouble.
This is just a competing idea in the marketplace of ideas. Churches advertise all the time to get people from one religion to another, or to attract people who really don't have any firm religious faith. Let them spend their money any way they want to.
You'll find that those that define right and wrong for themselves always seem to fit that definition with how they are living anyway.
