How ironic because if it weren't for a certain Austrian there probably wouldn't have been the urgent need for an Israel after the second World War..

Actually the charge for the creation of a Jewish state came in the immediate post WWI period. Of course the impetus was the belief of the early Zionists that Europe wasn't safe for Jews. They turned out to be correct.

I'm German & in the past, I also did not support the nation of Israel. However, as a Christian, I began to question myself. If I claim to be a follower of Yeshua, who is Jewish, then how can I reject his people/nation. Then, after studying the Old & New testament, I realized the importance of Israel in GOD's plan. And after all, 2K years ago the nation of Israel was forcefully evicted from their land by Rome, they still have the right to keep/protect their land today.

As a German/Christian, I think support of Israel in today's world is vital.
