We can fight the Fairness Doctrine…we have more power than you realize.

I was listening to “The Great One” and pondering this attempt to shut conservative talk radio up. Folks, we do not have to bend over and grab the ankles. We can fight back and really influence Chucky Shumer’s State. It will take some sacrifice on our part however, our families would be better off. If they pass the Fascist Fairness Doctrine (FFD), I think the day they pass the FFD, the next day cancel your cable; cancel your Direct TV; or Cancel your Dish Network. Think how that would affect CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, The Comedy Channel and the rest of the MSM. Imagine 40 to 50 million people saying no to the networks and cable channels. Revenue would drop, advertisers would demand lower rates (salaries would drop). The only folks that would be watching are the Drones…the only commercials they would need would be for products such as plastic assorted fruit and turkey- basters. Maybe we could read more and find other things to do. Television is really pitiful. I would miss my football or, better yet, I would just go to the sports bar and see my team lose. Think about the impact we could make if we got serious and live by our principles and started fighting back with our choices. Happy Birthday fellow Marines! We shall overcome and win our country back!

I can’t see how this could be constitutional, anymore than hate crimes, or Affirmative Action

Well, this is what they are going to do. It’s not going to be the fairness doctrine. They will go after consolidated media and that is MUCH more difficult to fight and probably much more effective than the Fairness Doctrine.

I have none of the above as I don’t have a TV, it’s good.

The only advertisers that would continue would be the condom ads, the Billy Maze ads, KFC and Taco Bell ads, and Cadillac ads....

That would cover the shopping habits of the Dem voterbase.

If this Fairness Doctrine passes, my service may well go off the air. I have Sky Angel IPTV (Christian television programming) and TV sermons may well be outlawed as "hate speech."

Much better if we all just don’t go to work until they let us have our freedom of speech again. Won’t take long believe me.

Perhaps this has been suggested, perhaps not. There are at least three things that will get me back into the streets (Last time I was in the streets was in front of Vice Presidents mansion screaming “Get Out of Cheney’s House” after 2000 election, What a great day that was!). They are:

1. A move by the Obama administration on Second Amendment.
2. A move by congressional dems to institute fairness doctrine.
3. A move by congressional dems to snag 401(k) funds.

If any of these ideas begins to pick up steam, a true million man march has to happen. Maybe a couple of million men with organizational help from the NRA. Imagine a couple of million serious men marching silently on DC. Now imagine if every last one of us decked out in camouflage.

You have a very good point. If conservative talk radio is censored, how long until Sunday Church Services are censored?

I think that’s a great idea! Even better to get Rush, Sean, Fox, whoever in on it so we can start broadcasting our intent, just as they have broadcasted theirs.

Don’t forget Christian groups, I don’t think they’re nearly as happy with this election as they have been portrayed.

Liberals never worry about the Constitution....they have the power they will do what they want.

We have the power of the free market. If every McCain/Palin voter protested the media like this, it would have a dire and immediate impact. If we do this every time and at every level that they try to push their socialism on us, they will learn quickly learn that socialism is getting them the opposite of what they want.

We need to take our kids out of the public indoctrination centers, too. If the value of our homes have gone down drastically, get a tax reassessment and pay less in tax.

We can hurt them right where they live--in the wallet. The Socialists and the media don't like capitalism and the free market? Okay, let's not pay for their worthless services any longer.

When it comes down to practical realities, the almighty dollar will always trump over ideology. Call it a nonviolent revolution of passive resistance.

This is probably not going to sit well but, again, The Emperor is Wearing - No Clothes! Talk radio deserves to die the death. Their effectiveness in the last election (hard to say that word ) was laughable. Savage promised a wave of voters. Rush had a plan - yeah! A Plan to boost his ratings. The day before the election I listened to his show and there was a ‘supposed’ Obama supporter on the phone. I doubt an Obama supporter even knew enough to call Rush, especially the woman (Actress) I heard.

I am concentrating on the Peak Oil issue and readying myself and my household for my Lord’s return - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

And the Marxists would care? Less competion for the "Official Organs" of the state. It would be a nice side effect for them.

XtreMly Sirus!

If they put pressure on Justice Kennedy anything is possible. The threat of folks canceling their television packages would really have impact on Chucky’s state. He gets wind that we are serious about our boycott he would think twice about passing it. He needs a fastball thrown under his chin...he’s leaning left over the plate
