The typeset on the birth certificate pictured on the internet is in the arial font. That font didn’t exist in 1963.

The certificate is not an original, but produced by Hawaii more recently. The original would have been typed on BC stock paper. The new ones are not, they are produced on a modern computer.

Interesting. I wonder why the state of Hawaii would go to the expense of having someone sit and re-type all of the information from the original BC to a new form, instead of simply photo-copying the original?

I just had to obtain a new copy of my original BC from California, and they simply photo-copied the original onto a new official document form, which bears all of the necessary seals, current date, and signatures.

Barry's purported copy seems to have been built from the ground up. Why?
