The real danger here is forming a cult of personality around Palin similar to the one that formed around Obama.
We must be very careful in our choices for these next two elections, we shouldn't be trying to replicate the success of our enemy. We will win in our own way, through rational discourse and pragmatism.
DO NOT INVEST IN PEOPLE, invest in ideas. We will win these next elections because our ideas are better. Which means it's time to dump intellectual lightweights like Sarah Palin, and return this to the party of Bennett and Gingrich.
It's amazing just how plum STUPID candidates are these days. He Who We Will Never Name Again couldn't even decisively beat Obama in the debates.

It never fails to amaze me how many people here want to believe this and want it to be the end of her.

Exactly.

The Bushbots should have been a lesson.

when you are governor of a state, come and make your piece..

when you oversee a natural gas pipeline, speak as much as you wish...

and when you are picked to be a vp candidate, run 2-3 rallies a day, face reporters, try to keep the family happy, then please, again, speak your piece....

this is the only truth......mccain pulls in 10,000,000 less votes without Palin, maybe more....

The party of compulsive gambling and adultery?

I’m still w/ Palin.

Why do you assume that Sarah is an intellectual lightweight? Might that be because that's ALL anyone heard on the news from the time she was chosen, from the MSM, Democrats, and, I'm sorry to say, some 'Republican' sources? She wasn't prepared for all this, and I think she held up pretty well, considering.

You may think it was a 'cult of personality', but she had solid conservative IDEAS in her speeches, not just pablum and platitudes like Obama.

As far as Bennett and Gingrich are concerned, yes, they are intellectuals, but most folks don't connect with them, because they don't think they're like their own families, and some folks LIKE that connection.

First you will have to prove your point about Palin.

Everything you have stated is built on a completely shakey foundation of insinuations and unsourced second-hand statements from Campaign Carl Cameron is no friend to conservatives.

I dare say you probably have a problem with social and fiscal conservatives as Carl does and many of the commentators on FoxNews and probably most of McCain's campaign staff an McCain himself.

Give it a rest unless you can prove your point.

So far your argument is nothing but hot air without any facts.

Know any ideas we can nominate in 2012?
