I stated on FR that I would never vote for John McCain for any reason. I was going to write in John Galt and Hank Reardon. I ate those words when he chose Sarah Palin as his VP running mate. I voted for Palin and held my nose for McCain.
That’s exactly what many in my family did—they voted for the McWhatshisname/Palin ticket.
