Check this out. Kerri was part of Palin's campaign team during the election.

Palin is the only reason this was not a 1964 style Barry Goldwater vs Lyndon Johnson landslide.

McCain would have carried only Arizona and maybe 3 or 4 other states with somebody like Tom Ridge on the ticket.

Schmidt... that’s the bastard’s name I couldn’t remember. Shortly after the first polls started closing, FNC asked him if he felt Gov. Palin was a good pick and he said he’d be able to tell after the election. He was purely telegraphing that he planned on blaming her.

What is wrong with these people. Obama Out spent them 3 to 1, It is a tough year for a Republican regardless, The financial meldown was the straw that broke the camels back and yet they are trying to blame Palin...

Sarah Palin gave energy and direction to the McCain ticket didn’t they notice the poll jump directly after the convention? didn’t they see that no matter how good Obama’s ground game was the McCain Palin Ticket was going to Bowel over him if the ecnomic failure had not happened...

You know who needs to get canned and reported on is the Idiot that counseled McCain not to get on the side of the PEOPLE when it came to bailing out Wall St. His protest of that bill would have won him the election.

Whoever these idiots are talking all this crap now need to shut up and go away I am sick of it.

Success has a thousand fathers but failure is an orphan. In this case: a whiny, tantrum-throwing orphan who screams at the top of his lungs and throws his dinner tray against the wall, blaming his little sister for the fact that he didn’t get what he wanted for Christmas.

I have been extremely unhappy with the Republican National Committee since Bush 41 ran for reelection.

They JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIGHT these liars on the left.

I would not have voted for McCain if it were not for Sarah.

This has Mitt Romney written all over it. Another man I CANNOT vote for.

The inclusion of Governor Palin on the ticket changed everything for conservatives that still comprise the base of the Republican Party. Many decided that instead of staying home on election day or voting for Bob Barr, they would donate, volunteer for phone banking and actually vote for John McCain.

This truth should be emphasized again and again!

Davis and Schmidt live off of political campaigns. They are positioning themselves for their next job. The Republican Party, and McCain in particular, should not allow this. McCain should go on public record as saying the sniping against Palin should stop. Republicans shouldn’t be fighting each other when they face a huge problem in dealing with the Democrats.

Palin was the only Republican candidate out there kicking ass and naming names. McCain could only blame Bush and attack Republicans. Yes, I supported McCain, after Palin joined the ticket. I did not, cannot connect with McCain or understand his campaign tactics. Sorry, McCain campaign staffers should stand up like men and quit blaming anyone else. But, why can we expect that now when they ran such a gutless campaign?

I stated on FR that I would never vote for John McCain for any reason. I was going to write in John Galt and Hank Reardon. I ate those words when he chose Sarah Palin as his VP running mate. I voted for Palin and held my nose for McCain.

blame Sarah Palin for McCain’s loss?

Blame Palin for the loss of the guy that would go out of his way to align himself with the Democrats time after time? The guy who was loath to brand himself with the name of the party on whose ticket he was running? The guy who had all the speed of Bob Dole but none of the sparkling personality? THAT guy's loss?

McCain is a loser. He spent his time pissing off the conservative base and the base stayed home, go figure.

McCain never had a chance, just another Bob Dole candidate.

Here’s a news flash ... had it not been for Palin, the margin would have been even greater for Obama and I could have seen even more states falling (Montana, Georgia, etc.) I doubt McCain would have even reached 40% had it not been for Sarah. Palin energized me and energized the base. Without this energy it would have been a complete landslide, probably like 1980 but in reverse for the Dems.
