While I sit and observe this entire episode from Germany...there are lots of signs that one would have seen in 1932...and this fascination by people in believing in something beyond “normal”. Obama is like the combination of Gandi, Moses, ET and Marx...and can do no wrong. I think he could do a “Cheney” and shoot twenty folks by accident and no one would say a word.
It was true of Uncle Joe Stalin too. Those Stalinists in the US and UK loved the man and would never speak ill of him or the Soviet Union. Their eagerness to denigrate the US and UK during WWII and their stunning silence in a lack of criticism of Joseph Stalin was what ultimately turned George Orwell off of Socialism.
