Precinct is Democrat. It was a very quick line. Lots of students from Virginia Tech as it is the closest precinct to the dorms, many bused in Obama minivans.

Precinct judges looked “concerned”. That’s the first time I have seen that. I don’t know why but I suspect it is due to so many students.

Daughter is a freshman Hokie. She voted absentee (McCain/Palin) since we live in PA. I've been shocked at all the nObama signs around Blacksburg, but being a college town I shouldn't be surprised.

We'll be down Thursday for the Maryland game. Kick butt, Hokies (and McPalin).

Over here in Roanoke, line was the same as it always is at my precinct, i.e., it took me about 20 minutes to vote. But, I chatted up the poll ladies and they said the turn out very early was high. I am hoping the high turnout was for McCain, but there was really no way to tell.
