Daily "Pray for America and McCain/Palin" Thread (11-2-08)

America has been greatly blessed by God and has stood as the greatest country in the history of the world for over 200 years. America has many foreign and domestic enemies that are seeking her destruction.

This thread is a daily call and reminder for people of faith who believe in God and in the power of prayer to make a commitment to intercede for America at this critical time in her history

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.

if we stay faithful in prayer and intercede for america as king david interceded for israel, we will see God's answer.

Lord, we thank You for answered prayers for sarah palin and we now humbly ask You to bless john mccain with a spirit of great courage and fill him with a holy fire to speak boldly in defense of what is right and in defense of america.
protect john mccain, Father, and give him great favor with the people and let them see a strong leader who will serve america and her people with wisdom and stand against the evil that wants to destroy america. let him speak the truth about obama and not hold back. fill john mcccain and all of us with a mighty warrior’s spirit to fight the socialist evil that wants to destroy america.

Heavenly Father,

We come before you and we ask that only your perfect and divine Will be done in America. We are so grateful for this blessed land, and we see how the Enemy has come so near to our gates and we are in danger of losing the blessed gift you gave us in that divine document, the Constitution.

Father, we are mindful of the deal you cut with Lot, whereby you told him that for the sake of the 10 righteous men, the city could be spared. Father, in that day the 10 righteous men could not be found, but in this nation, there are surely the 10,000 or 1 million or even many others who are on their knees praying for your intercession, who love you, who love this nation and her blessings and who in this day would fulfill the requisite of that bargain you made with Lot. We plead with you this day to spare our nation for the sake of the fraction of the population who still adore you and appreciate and love the flame of Freedom which you have given us here. We beg you to allow the preservation of the cradle of Freedom for this world, the United States of America, governed under that magnificent Constitution.

We ask that you would intercede into the entire matter of the possible vote fraud which we see displayed on our TV sets. We ask that in the face of this darkness, you will shine the Light and render any and all violations of the sanctity of our ballot boxes ineffective. Place your hand on the shoulder of those poll workers and others who might be tempted or even have intentions to overlook or even participate in underhanded activities with those ballots.

Blessed Father, send your angels to overshadow our entire nation in the days to come. Especially, Father, we ask that you will intercede in the consciousness, being and world of your precious children who have been manipulated into feeling such anger, frustration, anxiety, and injustice toward this country - so much so, that they threaten rioting and violence if they do not get their way. Heavenly Father, bless these and all of your children in this nation with the gift of Divine Unity.

We magnify your Name, and in the name of your Son, our Lord and Savior, we gratefully accept thy deliverance this day.

Lord, in Jesus’ name I ask you for mercy on this sinful, rebellious nation. We have been living on, and enjoying the fruits of the “borrowed righteousness” of previous generations who feared and humbled themselves before You. We observe the masses of those who support turning this republic over to our enemies, both temporal and spiritual, and we grieve.

We ask you to keep the forces of the enemy from our government, from the presidency, from congress, and from all judicial branches.

We also ask you to pour out Your Spirit upon this wicked culture, and we ask for a spirit of repentence upon all fifty states.
