I just caught a segment of tonight's Obama rally. He told those attending that "five days from now we will fundamentally change America".
Somebody pinch me and tell me this is all a bad dream. How can so many Americans not be listening to what this guy is really saying?
I refuse to believe that America will elect as POTUS this untested, unproven, unknown left-wing radical, who can't make it one week without another shady association being revealed. This is like the twilight zone.
Of course Obama is going to win the support of the far too many "Americans" who share his ideology, but I just can't figure out what has gotten into to the rest of the electorate? How can states like OH, PA and VA actually be so close, even in a bad GOP year?
I am fully confident that on November 4th, sober Americans will take their voting responsibility seriously and elect John McCain, a man who made great sacrifice for his country, over this guy who just showed up and wants to "change America".
But for this election to even be close is a sad commentary on the State of this Union.
"Wake up America!"

I fear a majority of this country is so blinded by hate for George W, that they would vote for anyone with a D by their name.
Keep your spirits up. It ain’t over ‘til it’s over. Just get out and vote and get other McCain supporters you know out to vote as well.
It's because the dumbed-down voters are at best uninformed or malinformed. They may also just be plain stupid. But also they are against GWB.
I also think that if GWB had pardoned those Border Patrol agents that the dislike for him would be lessened.
What the muzzie means is that he’s going to make it unsafe for parents to do and say certain things when their children are around.
Coming out of lurkdom to say I’ve spoken to 2 people who are voting for Obama and the only reason they’re voting for him is because they feel it’s time a black man is given the chance to be President, no other reason is given at all. How do you even talk to someone with that insane mindset?
Thats the truth. And the Bush Administration has not helped matters in the PR debt. I sometimes wonder if they enjoy getting their daily butt poundings from the Main Stream Media. That is why I thanked God when I found out that Sarah Palin was not going along with Tucker Eskew and Nicole Wallace.
My Rep. sister in law is voting for Obama because she “ hates Sarah”, can’t give a reason why she feels that way. My brother in law ( a Catholic priest) is voting for Obama.
Going to be a quiet holiday season for me, they both can KMA.
I know 2 people who are voting for him also, they say because he is for change...ask them what change and they don’t know, but change sounds good. It is mind blowing that they want all this “change”, be careful what you wish for!
I saw a post yesterday of a quote someone heard on NPR...”Rosa sat so Martin could stand, Martin stood so Obama could run, Obama is running so our children can fly”...all that went through my head was our children crash landing!

How could someone “hate Sarah”. I just dont get it. She seems like a very nice woman. She is a mother of 5. She is a popular governor. What is there to hate ?

Well, that explains that. My family will give Palin all of our votes. ANd there’s a lot of us. :-} Hopefully there are more like us.
