It's worse than many people realize. the LA Times parent company (The Tribune Company was the media organization that got a judge to release details of Republican US Senate candidate Jack Ryan in 2004, killing his campaign; despite both Ryan's and his ex-wife, actress Jeri Ryan's, vehement protests.
Ryan's opponent? Barack Obama.
